About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Oracle DBA to manage and support mission-critical database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup & recovery, high availability, and automation of Oracle databases across both on-premises and cloud (AWS) environments.

Job Responsibilities :

• Manage full lifecycle of Oracle database administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance

• Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting for production environments

• Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies

• Maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery using Oracle RAC and Data Guard

• Monitor database health and performance proactively

• Implement capacity planning and database optimization strategies

• Perform database patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities

• Ensure database security, compliance, and access control

• Automate database operations using CI/CD pipelines and scripting tools

• Manage cloud-based databases in AWS along with on-premise infrastructure

• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for database reliability

• Provide 24×7 on-call support on a rotational basis

Mandatory Skills:

✔ Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration

✔ Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery

✔ Strong knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting

✔ Experience managing databases in AWS and On-Prem environments

✔ Experience with CI/CD automation for database deployments

✔ Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)

✔ Experience with database monitoring and alerting tools

✔ Knowledge of other RDBMS and NoSQL databases

Preferred Skills :

✔ Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication

✔ Experience with database automation and scripting

✔ Exposure to DevOps practices for database management

✔ Experience working in large enterprise production environments
