Reports To: Technical Delivery Manager - Manages: 2 L1/L2 Network Engineers

The Role

Lead network operations for enterprise managed services (Cisco Meraki stack). Own incident escalation, change design, automation, and mentorship of 2 L1 engineers. Hands-on technical and team mentorship.

Critical Technical Requirement:

Must be hands-on proven experience in CISCO Meraki stack

5+ Y production Meraki SD-WAN: AutoVPN design, failover policies, traffic shaping, WAN health monitoring

Meraki security appliances: MX series firewall rules, NAT, ACLs, VPN policies, threat protection

Meraki switching & wireless: MS series switches, MR access points, VLAN config, port security

Meraki Dashboard mastery: Admin, monitoring, alert tuning, organization structure, firmware management

CCNP Enterprise certified design-level Meraki architecture required

What You'll Do

Resolve complex L2/L3 incidents: multi-site Meraki SD-WAN cascades, failover logic failures, firewall interactions

Design RCA fixes for Meraki infrastructure; automate operational tasks (Python/Ansible)

Design network changes: SD-WAN policies, firewall rules, VLAN segmentation, failover strategies

Packet-level diagnostics (Wireshark); Meraki dashboard monitoring design

Manage 2 L1 engineers: 95% SLA, 75% FCR rate

Mentor on Meraki troubleshooting, design thinking, change discipline

Author SOPs, KB articles, runbooks for Meraki operations

Grow 1 L1 to L2 level per 1218 months

5+ Y Cisco Meraki SD-WAN (design, AutoVPN, failover, WAN health)

3+ Y Meraki security appliances (MX firewall: NAT, ACLs, VPN, threat protection)

3+ Y Meraki switching (MS series: VLAN, STP, port security, management)

Meraki Dashboard expert: Admin, monitoring, alerts, organization structure

ITSM: ServiceNow/Jira/BMC Remedy; change discipline; CMDB

L2/L3 troubleshooting: Wireshark packet analysis, syslog correlation

Prefer hands-on experience with Palo Alto & Fortinet

Bengaluru local (5-day WFO commute required)

Preferred CCNP Enterprise and/or Meraki CMNA
