Role Overview:
Network L2/L2+ Engineer with hands‑on experience in Cisco ACI, Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), and Enterprise Wireless technologies to support, operate, and troubleshoot Data Center and Campus networks in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for Data Center, Campus, and Wireless networks.
- Operate and troubleshoot Cisco ACI (APIC, Fabric, Tenants, VRFs, EPGs, Contracts).
- Perform Day‑2 operations on Cisco ACI including fault, health score, and policy analysis.
- Support Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) for assurance, monitoring, provisioning, and image management.
- Manage and troubleshoot Enterprise Wireless (WLCs, APs, SSIDs, RF optimization, roaming).
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless LAN issues (connectivity, performance, authentication).
- Handle incidents, changes, and RCA as per ITIL processes.
- Coordinate with Cisco TAC and internal teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain network documentation and SOPs.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Cisco ACI operations.
- Working knowledge of Cisco DNAC.
- Hands‑on experience with Enterprise Wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi 5/6, WLCs, APs).
- Good understanding of Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP).
- Experience with Cisco Nexus switches.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches and Wireless
- Experience with NAC integration
- Knowledge of network security basics (ACLs, segmentation).
- Familiarity with ITIL support models.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to SD‑Access
- Wireless security (802.1X, ISE)
- Basic automation (Python / REST APIs)
- Cloud networking fundamentals
Certifications (Preferred):
- CCNP Enterprise / Data Center
- CCNP or CCNA Wireless
- ITIL Foundation
