Job Description
Purpose - The Procurement Manager (Capex) supports the sourcing and procurement of Capex materials and equipment for pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role ensures timely and cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Under the guidance of the Capex GM, the Manager will manage documentation, cost comparison, PO creation, and provide end-to-end support for Capex procurement and on-time project execution.

Years of Experience - 10 plus years of experience in procurement, specifically in sourcing OPEX materials for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Need experience managing a team for 3+ years.
Job Responsibilities / Deliverables Sourcing & Procurement
Identify and source Capex materials required for pharmaceutical production, ensuring timely delivery to meet operational needs.
Supplier Evaluation: Assess potential suppliers based on criteria such as quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and get updates on supplies.
Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality consistency, and adherence to agreed-upon terms.
Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other contractual conditions to achieve cost savings while maintaining supplier reliability.
Cost Analysis: Prepare cost comparisons and monthly MIS
Qualifications & Pre-Requisites Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
