About the Role
We are seeking a Technology Project Manager with a strong technical background to drive
execution of key technology initiatives, including AI, BI, Cloud migration and data lake projects.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in technology delivery, has transitioned
into project/vendor management, and can effectively coordinate between internal stakeholders
and external partners.
Job Responsibilities / Deliverables
- Technology Roadmap Execution: Translate Rubicon's digital strategy into actionable project plans for AI, BI, cloud, and data lake initiatives.
- Architecture & Standards Alignment: Ensure all data and AI systems adhere to enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central coordinator between Finance, SupplyChain, Regulatory, and IT teams to capture requirements and align priorities.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Lead RFPs, evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships to ensure delivery quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Innovation & AI Use Cases: Identify opportunities to embed AI/ML into business processes (e.g., predictive analytics, automation, anomaly detection).
- Change Management & Adoption: Drive user onboarding, training, and communication to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and tools.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop dashboards and KPIs to track project progress, resource utilization, and business impact.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, create mitigation plans, and escalate issues to leadership when needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Establish feedback loops to refine processes, optimize data pipelines, and improve BI dashboards over time.5. Facilitate the execution of Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDA) to enable data sharing.
Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
- 7+ years of professional experience in technology projects.
- Strong technical foundation preferably started career as a software developer.
- Proven track record in vendor management and technology procurement projects.
- Hands-on experience in projects involving:
- Data Lakes / Data Platforms
- Business Intelligence (BI) systems
- Cloud migration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to AI/ML project implementations is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Prior experience in data engineering or BI consulting environments.
- Ability to translate technical complexity into business-friendly language.Additional notes
