Role Summary

The SM Windows SME Operation will support all Microsoft technologies like Windows OS, M365, Azure AD, Active Directory, DNS, Hypervisor etc.. The person would be responsible for activities pertaining to people, process, and technology relevant to smooth functioning of BAU operation for both On-Prem and Cloud .

This role ensures high availability, security, and efficiency of all data center systems, including servers, storage, networking, and power/cooling infrastructure.

Role will require to lead initiatives for implementing new technology projects around AI andautomation, log captures, configuration. Migrating and setting up new authentication architecture for windows platform.Expertise around end user windows technology covering O365, intune, DC technology like Hypervisors, SCCM, Cloud technology like Kubernetes and VM automation etc.

C.Key Result Areas

Lead the Windows and AD team

Ensure efficient deployment and management of key solutions like Patching Tool, SCCM, Hypervisor etc

Deploys and Manage real-time monitoring and responses to incidents using AI Bots and Automation to minimize the impact on customers and oversee post-mortem processes, including investigation of root causes and business impact, communication to stakeholders, and mitigation initiatives.

Serve as a collaborative partner with engineering and infrastructure teams across the organization to understand and define the telemetry needed from key production and corporate technologies.

Plan and manage capacity for computer, storage, and network resources.

D.Skills Required

Technical

8-10 years of experience in Windows Domain with at least 5 years in large enterprise with more than 200 branches, and 5000 Users

Have experience leading Windows and M365 environment with Azure Cloud

Has expertise to deploy and manage AI tools in Windows domain that helps to reduce manual intervention

Working knowledge of standard compliance, risk, governance, and security standard methodologies.

Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization technologies, networking, and storage systems.

Hands-on experience in administering Windows and Linux servers.

Strong in AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Failover Clustering, and Server Core management.

Solid VMware admin skills: ESXi, vCenter, HA/DRS, lifecycle patching, PowerCLI.

Enterprise backup admin (Commvault or Networker )

Security-first approach: EDR/AV, CIS/STIG, patch SLAs, privileged access hygiene.

ITIL processes (change, incident, problem) and experience in high-severity incident handling.

Familiarity with monitoring tools for performance and availability tracking.

Excellent communicationclear updates, RCA writing, and stakeholder management.
