Your new role

As Senior Manager, you will lead the Power BI Development team, developing and executing strategy that empowers our Global Supply Chain with the insights and automation needed to efficiently and effectively deliver medicines to millions of patients worldwide. This is a rare opportunity to combine technical leadership with strategic business partnership, driving digital transformation across our entire value chain.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a talented team of Power Platform developers (BI, Apps, Automate), setting vision, goals, and delivery standards while fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Defining and executing the development strategy for Power Platform solutions, collaborating with IT to establish roadmaps, operating models, and ensure compliance and security across all analytics solutions
  • Acting as a strategic Business Partner across Global Supply Chain functions, translating business needs into actionable data-driven insights that empower decision-making and optimize supply chain performance
  • Fostering cross-functional collaboration by leading strategic forums, aligning priorities and resources, and promoting an inclusive environment that harnesses diverse perspectives
  • Driving continuous improvement and digital innovation through advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation - piloting and scaling solutions like control towers and digital twins to enhance efficiency
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across Global Supply Chain, Enterprise IT, Finance, and external partners, negotiating agreements and ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Championing change management and user adoption to maximize the impact of digital solutions across the organization

In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.

Within CMC & Product Supply, the Global Supply Chain team ensures seamless operations across Design, Planning, Logistics & Distribution, and International and North America Operations. Your role will be pivotal in digitally transforming how we work - empowering teams with reliable, actionable insights that drive informed decisions and optimize our ability to serve patients globally.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced digital leader who thrives in dynamic, international environments and is passionate about leveraging technology to drive meaningful business impact. You'll bring with you:

  • Master's degree in supply chain management, IT, Software, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in an international company, with 4+ years specifically in digitalization, business intelligence, or similar roles
  • Proven experience leading diverse teams and driving strategic initiatives as a team lead, project manager/owner, or similar capacity
  • Strong understanding of value chain processes across business functions and how digital solutions optimize supply chain operations
  • Advanced analytical thinking with the ability to break down complex problems and translate them into actionable insights that empower business decision-making
  • Exceptional collaborative communication skills - able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and foster alignment across departments
  • Demonstrated leadership capability to manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while driving impactful solutions
  • Innovative problem-solving mindset with creativity in developing solutions that address unique challenges and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse partners, suppliers, and service providers
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying informed of advancements in AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and other digital innovations
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • Intercultural understanding and international experience
