Job Title: Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure

Role Overview

The Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure is a critical leadership role responsible for Network, Server, and Database Operations supporting Medline's global healthcare manufacturing, distribution, and corporate systems. This role ensures 24x7 availability, security, compliance, and resilience of infrastructure platforms that enable Medline's mission of delivering high‑quality healthcare products and services worldwide.

The role leads multi‑disciplinary infrastructure teams in India, partners with global IT and business stakeholders, and ensures infrastructure services meet healthcare industry standards, internal security policies, and operational SLAs across regions including North America, Europe, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations Leadership

  • Own end‑to‑end operations for Network, Server, and Database Infrastructure supporting Medline's manufacturing plants, distribution centers, corporate offices, and digital platforms.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, stability, and security of infrastructure platforms across on‑premises and public cloud environments.
  • Lead incident, problem, and escalation management for critical infrastructure impacting healthcare supply chain and business operations.
  • Ensure network reliability and segmentation to support healthcare manufacturing, logistics, and corporate workloads.
  • Partner with security teams to enforce network security controls aligned with Medline's security policies.
  • Govern Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, cost optimization, performance, and secure operations for healthcare workloads.
  • Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives while maintaining stability of legacy platforms supporting regulated environments.
  • Ensure strong practices for backup, recovery, patching, high availability, and performance tuning for business‑critical databases.

Security, Compliance & Resilience

  • Ensure compliance with Medline's security standards, audit requirements, and healthcare data protection practices across infrastructure services
  • Own Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity planning, testing, and execution for infrastructure platforms.
  • Proactively identify infrastructure risks that could impact manufacturing, distribution, or patient‑care related services and drive mitigation plans.

People Leadership & Global Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high‑performing infrastructure teams across Network, Server, and Database domains.
  • Ensure the right skill mix, capacity planning, and succession planning to support Medline's global growth.
  • Collaborate closely with global IT leaders, business stakeholders, vendors, and service partners.

Metrics, Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track operational KPIs including availability, incident trends, SLA compliance, capacity, and cost.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, automation, and efficiency of infrastructure services.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic IT initiatives aligned with Medline's healthcare business priorities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10–15 years of IT infrastructure experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership or people‑management role.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise‑scale infrastructure in global organizations, preferably supporting healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
  • Strong hands‑on and leadership experience across:
  • Enterprise networking technologies
  • Server platforms (Windows, Linux), virtualization, storage, backup & DR
  • Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, Exadata, Cosmos DB)

  • Deep understanding of infrastructure security and compliance
