The Challenge:
Launch & Grow our Residential Rooftop Solar Vertical across 20+ Cities in 12 Months
Claro Energy has entered into a strategic GTM partnership with a top-tier National Consumer Brand to unlock India's residential solar market. We are going LIVE in 4 cities immediately (Pune, Nagpur, Hyderabad, and Vijaywada), with a hard-coded roadmap to expand to 18 additional cities within the first year.
We need a growth leader who can build the engine while driving the car. You will be responsible for the initial 0 to 1 in Phase 1 and the 1 to 100 scaling in Phase 2.
The Mandate:
1. Strategic Partner Liaison (The Bridge)
- Serve as the key Point of Contact (POC) for our national partner's leadership.
- Synchronize regional sales efforts, ensuring Claro's operational speed matches the partner's market presence.
- Maintain brand integrity and service excellence across a rapidly expanding footprint.
2. Rapid Team Architecture (The Scaler)
- Phase 1: Directly hire and lead sales teams across the first 4 cities.
- Phase 2: Design and execute the recruitment strategy for the next 18 cities.
- Build a high-performance Sales Academy culture—creating SOPs that allow new city teams to become productive within days, not weeks.
3. Direct Execution & Conversion (The IC Phase)
- In the initial months, you will act as an Individual Contributor, personally converting high-value leads to define the sales playbook.
- Coordinate with Ground Operations & Service teams (boots on the ground) to identify local friction points in installations, net-metering and subsidies, solving them before the mass-scale rollout.
Who You Are:
- The Scale Architect: You have managed distributed teams across multiple geographies, ideally in Residential Solar.
- The Networker: You have an active pipeline of sales talent across regions.
- The Speed Demon: You are comfortable with a 12-month hyper-growth timeline and the ambiguity that comes with it.
- Domain Knowledge: Intimate familiarity with the PM-Surya Ghar portal, DISCOM processes, and residential solar unit economics.
