Job Description

Position Summary

  • The Manager Talent Acquisition will lead and drive end to end recruitment strategy and execution for Owens and Minor India. This role is responsible for attracting assessing and hiring high quality talent across functions while ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements and healthcare industry standards.
  • The incumbent will partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver high quality hiring outcomes aligned to business priorities while building strong talent pipelines and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • The incumbent will act as a strategic Talent Acquisition partner to multiple business segments including Information Technology IT Commercial Sales and Marketing Customer Service and other support functions.
  • The role requires strong stakeholder engagement business acumen and the ability to influence hiring decisions while maintaining a high quality candidate experience.
  • This position demands a highly professional approach with the ability to operate in a matrix environment and collaborate effectively with global and regional leaders.
  • The role will also focus on strengthening employer branding optimizing recruitment processes and leveraging data driven insights to improve hiring outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with global and India business objectives
  • Partner with global business leaders and segment heads to understand current and future workforce needs
  • Build strong talent pipelines for critical and niche roles across functions

End to End Recruitment Delivery

  • Lead full lifecycle recruitment across IT Commercial Sales and Marketing Customer Service and support functions
  • Drive timely and high quality hiring outcomes for both volume and niche roles
  • Ensure robust assessment frameworks to evaluate technical capability and cultural fit

Global Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to global and regional business leaders on hiring strategy and talent market insights
  • Collaborate closely with segment leaders and hiring managers to drive effective hiring decisions
  • Influence stakeholders through data insights market intelligence and structured hiring approaches

Business Partnering

  • Build strong relationships across business segments to proactively support hiring needs
  • Provide consultative guidance on role design talent availability and compensation positioning
  • Drive alignment between business expectations and talent acquisition delivery

Employer Branding and Candidate Experience

  • Strengthen employer brand across platforms such as LinkedIn and other sourcing channels
  • Ensure a consistent and high quality candidate experience across all hiring stages
  • Drive diversity hiring initiatives and employee referral programs

Process Excellence and Compliance

  • Ensure recruitment processes are aligned with company policies and Indian labor regulations
  • Maintain high standards of documentation governance and audit readiness
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time to hire

Vendor and Agency Management

  • Manage recruitment partners and external vendors to ensure quality and cost effectiveness
  • Drive accountability and performance from agencies

Data and Reporting

  • Track key hiring metrics such as time to hire quality of hire and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Provide regular insights and dashboards to leadership
  • Use data driven insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes

Team Management if applicable

  • Lead and mentor Talent Acquisition team members
  • Drive a high performance culture and capability building within the team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • MBA or PGDM in HR preferred
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition preferably in healthcare medical devices or regulated industries with strong exposure to global hiring environments
  • Proven experience in hiring across multiple business segments including IT Commercial Sales and Marketing Customer Service and support functions
  • Proven experience in managing end to end recruitment and stakeholder relationships
