Job Description
Job Title: Senior Manager – Finance Transformation (Global Product Owner – ATR & OTC)
Location: Bangalore (Onsite)
Reporting to: Senior Director – Finance Operations & Internal Controls
PURPOSE OF ROLE
This role drives global finance transformation across Record‑to‑Report (ATR) and Order‑to‑Cash (OTC) processes by defining product vision, standardizing processes, and enabling touchless, compliant, and scalable finance operations. The role ensures that finance transformation initiatives deliver measurable business value through process simplification, automation, strong controls, and alignment with global finance strategy and policies.
KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Define and lead the global product vision and roadmap for ATR & OTC finance transformation initiatives aligned with the themes of Touchless, Standard, and Compliant.
- Drive end‑to‑end ownership of finance transformation programs, from problem definition through solution design, delivery, and value realization.
- Collaborate with Zone Finance, Shared Service Centers, Global Process Owners, and Technology teams to gather requirements while avoiding local deviations from global standards.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog to ensure delivery of the highest‑value features aligned with business priorities and global finance policies.
- Translate business needs into executable solutions by defining user stories, feature requirements, and acceptance criteria in partnership with business analysts and SMEs.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across country, zone, and global levels to ensure alignment, buy‑in, and successful adoption of transformation outcomes.
- Plan and coordinate releases with Corporate Technology teams to ensure timely, high‑quality deployment of finance capabilities.
- Own the financial governance of transformation initiatives, including business case development, annual planning submissions, and budget adherence.
- Monitor transformation outcomes using defined KPIs and take corrective actions to ensure target performance is achieved.
- Identify resistance to change and actively drive change management actions to embed standardized, best‑in‑class finance processes.
- Provide regular executive updates to senior leadership (VPs, Sr. Directors) on progress, risks, outcomes, and value delivered.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Education:
- Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, or a related field from a Premium Institute preferred
Experience:
- 8–12+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Finance Transformation, Process Improvement, or Product Ownership.
- Strong background in Accounting, Shared Service Center operations, and global finance process standardization.
- Experience working in SOX‑controlled environments with exposure to internal audit and internal controls.
