Role and Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from internal databases to support optimization and improvement of business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms tailored to various datasets.
- Use predictive modelling to enhance and optimize business outcomes.
- Work independently or within extended teams to implement models and algorithms into structured software, programs, or operational processes.
- Collaborate with different functional teams to deploy models and monitor their performance.
- Create tools and processes to monitor and assess model effectiveness and data accuracy.
- Provide actionable recommendations to business users based on model insights and support the implementation of those recommendations in operations, technology, or data management.

- Secondary area of focus: ICS
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Demonstrated business improvements pre & post implementation of operational programs, algorithms, models, or software (measured in time or cost savings).
- Satisfaction scores from business users utilizing the delivered solutions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BSc/BTech) in applied sciences, including second-year statistics coursework.
- Minimum two-month relevant internship or equivalent certifications in preferred skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on business development.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Python or R (for data cleaning, statistical analysis, and modelling), SQL, VBA, and DAX (Power BI).
- Understanding of data architecture principles.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, decision trees, neural networks) and their practical applications.
- Solid grasp of statistical methods including regression, distributions, statistical testing, and application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional coordination.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and techniques.
