Job Description - Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

Location: Delhi

Job Description as given below:

• Estimation & Billing.

• Estimation of MEP (HVAC , Electrical , Plumbing , Fire Fighting , Networking , FAS Etc )

• Certification of R/A and final bills of the contractors and vendors as per the stipulated terms Conditions of the respective contract agreement.

• Understanding drawings of all disciplines and calculating the quantities for MEP Works.

• Preparation of BOQ, Estimation & Budget along with the technical specification as per the initial tender drawings and formulating priced BOQ as per the market rates for the Design & build projects.

• Preparation of Quantity Variations with respect to the GFC, Non-Tender items Rate analysis

• Checking & certifying all consultants, Contractors, and sub-contractors bills and passing to accounts department.

• Discussing & finalizing the rates with supplier with good negotiation skill and issuing the Purchase order to supplier.

• Maintaining and updating master rates for all material based on the market price and vendor data base for contractors.

• Preparation of Rate analysis and work order, comparative statement, Reconciliation process etc

• Detailed measurement sheet /Quantity take off sheet from drawings.

• Document any changes in design and update budgets accordingly!

Required Skills

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical engineering

• A good knowledge of construction methods and materials.

• Budget handling skills.

• A methodical approach to work.

• Good organizational skills.
