Demonstrate working knowledge of litigation procedures, including SARFAESI, Section 138, arbitration, execution proceedings, civil and criminal cases, and ARC matters.
Conduct customer visits for stressed and chronic borrowers to facilitate legal recovery, including execution of Section 14 where required.
Represent the organization before courts and tribunals to defend filed cases.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and judicial bodies to ensure timely recovery of dues.
Utilize legal tools such as Section 138 notices, legal notices, Lok Adalat, and conciliation mechanisms for effective recovery.
Manage the regional lawsuit database and introduce new legal tools and processes for efficiency.
Initiate and drive projects aimed at reducing legal costs within the region.
Ensure all case files are properly documented and compliant with established procedures.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with solicitors and legal partners.
Handle non-performing assets (NPAs) by developing customized recovery strategies to maximize returns.
Lead and mentor the team to ensure effective execution of compliance requirements and actionable tasks.
