Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous Auditing and Accounting Expert to support our legal and advisory team with documentation, regulatory compliance and financial analysis. The role focuses on source-of-funds tracing, FEMA compliance and ensuring that all submissions meet the highest legal and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing client documentation related to source of funds.
- Ensure compliance with FEMA rules and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Coordinate with clients to gather, verify, and organize supporting documents.
- Conduct initial due diligence checks on financial and legal records.
- Prepare drafts, case notes, and summaries for attorney or advisor review.
- Maintain accurate and updated records on internal systems.
- Track deadlines and filing requirements, ensuring timely submissions.
- Support the legal and advisory team with research on regulatory updates, precedents, and case law.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in a paralegal, compliance, or legal support role.
- Strong knowledge of FEMA rules and financial regulations in India.
- Background in corporate, financial, or immigration law preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MS Office and legal research tools.
