Job Information: Senior Legal Counsel

Department: Risk Management

SBU: Corporate Legal

Experience: 10-12 Years (Corporate Legal Experience)

Qualification: LLB (Tier I & II Law Schools Preferred)

Role Description

As a Senior Legal Counsel, the candidate will:

Provide legal advice and support for Large Corporates, Wholesale Banking, Structured Deals, Trade Finance, and Transaction Banking Products.
Develop and maintain standard legal templates and legal guidelines for various banking products.
Structure transactions and contracts while negotiating terms with third parties.
Conduct due diligence on deals and transactions, including property matters.
Manage litigation cases and draft legal documents like Complaints, Affidavits, and Replies.
Advise on corporate governance issues, regulatory compliance, and business structuring.
Collaborate with external legal counsels and regulatory bodies.
Analyze contractual risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise on their impact on business operations.

Education

Bachelors of Law (B.L/L.L.B), Master of Law (M.L/L.L.M)
