Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead/Principal Engineer in Drainage & Land Development to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in leading engineering projects, ensuring that drainage systems are designed effectively and comply with all relevant regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, project management capabilities, and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage drainage and land development projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine drainage requirements.
- Develop detailed engineering designs and specifications for drainage systems.
- Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineers to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards in all designs and implementations.
- Perform hydrological and hydraulic calculations to support design decisions.
- Review and approve project documentation and plans prepared by junior engineers.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and support staff in technical and project-related matters.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 6-16 years of experience in drainage and land development engineering.
- Strong understanding of drainage design principles and land development processes.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Hydraulics modeling tools.
- Knowledge of local and national drainage regulations and standards.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
