Qualification:
- Any Graduate, preferably B.Sc./BCA/B.Tech or Diploma in Hardware & Networking, Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+, MCSE, Apple Certified Support Professional) will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops (including Windows and Mac devices), printers, networking equipment, and CCTV systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
- Perform routine system upgrades, patches, backups, restores, and data migration activities on both Windows and Mac platforms.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues across different operating systems.
- Handle on-site and remote support for end-users, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Install, configure, and manage software applications and security updates on Windows and Mac devices.
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including network devices, printers, and CCTV systems.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical teams or vendors as per the escalation matrix.
- Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets and support activities.
- Follow best practices for IT security, data privacy, and compliance.
- Assist in IT-related projects and the implementation of new technologies.
- Identify root causes of issues and suggest corrective and preventive measures.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in operating, troubleshooting, and supporting macOS devices (MacBook, iMac, Mac Mini, etc.).
- Good knowledge of macOS installation, configuration, user management, system updates, and software installations.
- Ability to resolve common macOS hardware and software issues, including performance, connectivity, and compatibility problems.
- Familiarity with macOS system preferences, Time Machine backups, disk management, and security features.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Teams for end users, including file sharing, permissions, sync issues, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
- Proficient in operating system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Windows & MacOS).
- Experience in MS Office Suite troubleshooting and support (including Office for Mac).
- Hands-on knowledge of hardware componentsupgrades, replacements, and repairs (e.g., RAM, motherboard, disks, peripherals).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of CCTV setup, configuration, and monitoring.
- Ability to provide remote and on-site technical support.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal users and vendors.
- Ability to document processes, incidents, and solutions clearly.
Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to ITIL processes and service management tools.
- Experience with Active Directory and user management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- AI/Automation enthusiastinterest in emerging technologies.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
- Ready to tackle on-ground challenges and work in a fast-paced environment.
