Livin Interiors is seeking a talented and creative Designer to join our team. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for collaborating with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and vision for their spaces. You will then translate these insights into innovative design concepts that reflect the client's style while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their requirements, preferences, and budget for the project. Conduct thorough interviews to understand their lifestyle, taste, and vision for the space.
- Concept Development: Develop design concepts and mood boards that align with the client's preferences and project goals. Present these concepts to clients and incorporate their feedback to refine the designs.
- Space Planning: Create detailed floor plans and layouts to optimize the functionality and flow of the space. Consider factors such as traffic flow, furniture placement, and spatial efficiency.
- Material and Finishes Selection: Research and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that meet the client's aesthetic and functional requirements. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials within budget constraints.
- Design Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design presentations, including drawings, renderings, and sample boards, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proficiency in design software such asAutoCAD, SketchUp Modelling, Sketchup Layout and Enscape.
- Proven experience in interior design, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Strong creative vision and ability to translate client requirements into innovative design solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and spatial planning.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
