Senior Interior Designer

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development to final execution, for residential spaces at Artyss Design Studio. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their requirements, developing design concepts and mood boards, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and overseeing space planning and selection of finishes, fixtures, and furnishings. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, reviewing construction drawings, conducting site visits to monitor progress, and ensuring that design standards, timelines, and budgets are met. The Senior Interior Designer will also mentor junior designers, contribute to design presentations, and maintain consistent project documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications

• Ability to manage and integrate Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically coherent residential environments.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and experience collaborating with architectural and construction teams.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for execution on site.
• Experience in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating residential design projects and leadership in execution.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with presentation tools.
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work on-site in Bengaluru on a full-time basis.
