Role Description
FDC Studios is seeking a dedicated Senior Interior Designer to join our team in Bengaluru South. This is a full-time, on-site role. The individual will be responsible for leading the design process, from conceptualization to execution, including space planning, developing layouts, preparing construction drawings, and sourcing Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E). Additionally, the Senior Interior Designer will closely collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution within timelines and budgets. This role also involves mentoring junior designers and contributing to the growth of the design team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and developing innovative design layouts.
- Strong understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings for seamless project coordination.
- Expertise in Interior Design and selecting appropriate FF&E for projects.
- Ability to manage projects effectively, including schedules and budgets.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Prior experience in leading design projects with a portfolio showcasing completed works.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
