Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead our residential interior projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing end-to-end interior design projects and exceptional skills in client relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Lead consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the design process.
- Provide expert guidance and advice on design options, materials, and cost implications.
- Manage client expectations and ensure clear communication at all stages of the project.
Design Development:
- Create innovative and functional design concepts that align with client requirements and industry trends.
- Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and presentations using design software.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other specialists to ensure design feasibility.
Project Management:
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of work.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Resolve any design or construction issues that arise during the project.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior designers and support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and techniques, sharing knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in residential interior design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of residential projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and others.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and materiality.
