About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior HR Manager to lead our Human Resources functions for our India operations, based out of our modern office in Noida. This pivotal role will be instrumental in building and scaling our HR infrastructure, ensuring compliance, fostering a vibrant culture, and supporting our ambitious growth plans. You will report directly to the leadership team and play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Strategy & Policy: Develop, implement, and oversee HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with ShipsKart's global vision and local Indian regulations.
  • Legal & Statutory Compliance: Ensure absolute compliance with all Indian labor laws, statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, Gratuity, POSH), and regulatory reporting. This is a non-negotiable core responsibility.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for all roles, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding, developing a strong employer brand.
  • Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms to drive employee development and productivity.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll processing, manage compensation structures, benefits administration, and ensure competitive and fair practices.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment. Address employee grievances, mediate conflicts, and drive engagement initiatives.
  • Learning & Development: Identify training needs and facilitate programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • HR Operations: Manage HR data, maintain employee records, and leverage HRIS effectively for efficient HR operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all HR-related matters.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-4 years in a senior or managerial role, preferably within a fast-paced, tech-driven or startup environment.
  • Legal Expertise: In-depth, practical knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices is essential.
  • Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Proven ability to manage the full employee lifecycle effectively.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in team management.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
