About the Role
ZFunds Distribution is a fast-growing organization, and we're looking for an HR Manager who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. This role is for someone who can build, scale, and own people processes while partnering closely with leadership. You'll play a key role in hiring the right talent, shaping culture, and creating a high-performance workplace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Own end-to-end hiring across functions in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, social platforms, and recruitment partners.
- Work closely with founders and business leaders to understand hiring needs and timelines.
- Manage interview coordination, feedback, offer roll-outs, and salary negotiations.
- Ensure a smooth and engaging candidate experience from first interaction to joining.
2. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Drive structured yet flexible onboarding for new hires.
- Ensure completion of joining formalities, documentation, and system access.
- Act as the go-to person for employees across the entire lifecycle from joining to exit.
3. HR Business Partnering
- Partner with managers to support performance management, team building, and people decisions.
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance on policies, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Balance business needs with employee experience in a growing organization.
4. Culture & Employee Engagement
- Build and strengthen ZFunds culture through meaningful engagement initiatives.
- Drive communication around values, behaviors, and ways of working.
- Actively gather employee feedback and convert it into practical action items.
5. HR Operations & Process Building
- Set up, streamline, and scale HR processes suitable for a growing startup.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain accurate HR data, reports, and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Full-time MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 58 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in startups, fintech, or fast-growth environments.
- Strong exposure to Talent Acquisition and HR operations.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and execute with speed.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving processes.
- Strong communication skills and a people-first mindset.
- High integrity, discretion, and passion for building teams and culture.
- Willingness to work on-site in a 6-day work week environment.
