Senior Graphic Designer / Illustrator / Matte Painter

At Magical Theatre, we design immersive museums, sound & light shows, experience centres, and large-format narrative environments. We need someone who understands scale, mood, depth, and storytelling and can translate ideas into powerful visual compositions.

This role demands artistic maturity.

What You'll Lead:-

High-quality graphic design for experiential and spatial environments

Concept art and illustration for galleries and immersive shows

Matte painting for large-format projections and narrative backdrops

Visual development for pitch decks and client presentations

Key visual creation for projection mapping and multimedia content

Collaboration with 3D artists, animators, and curators

Required Skills:-

Strong expertise in Photoshop (advanced compositing + matte painting)

Illustration capability (digital preferred)

Deep understanding of light, atmosphere, texture, and perspective

Strong sense of scale for large-format display environments

Ability to create cinematic visuals with narrative intent

Bonus:-

Experience in immersive environments / projection mapping

Understanding of architectural or spatial context

Knowledge of AI-assisted creative workflows

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
