About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Fashion Designer with a strong design sensibility and foundational knowledge of the apparel industry. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to design development for international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design team in developing seasonal collections aligned with brand direction
- Collaborate closely with senior designers to co-create concepts, mood boards, and design ranges
- Translate design ideas into sketches, tech packs, and prototypes
- Work alongside factories and sampling teams to ensure accurate execution of designs
- Assist in fabric sourcing, trims, and market research
- Stay updated with global fashion trends, particularly UK and US markets
- Participate in fittings and help refine garments based on feedback
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in fashion/apparel design
- Degree or diploma from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or an equivalent design institute
- Basic understanding of the apparel manufacturing process
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
- Familiarity with UK/US market trends and aesthetics
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools
Nice to Have
- Exposure to or interest in AI tools in design (e.g., generative design, trend forecasting tools, etc.)
