Job Description

Senior Graphic Designer

Brand: Abby Lighting

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Budget -12 LPA

Work Location: Andheri West (Onsite)

Working Days: 6 days a week (1st and 3rd Saturdays off)

Working Hours: Flexible timings - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Role Overview

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for shaping and maintaining Abby Lighting's visual identity across all brand touchpoints. This role requires strong design thinking, aesthetic sensibility, and hands-on execution across digital, print, and spatial communication. The role also calls for comfort with modern AI-powered creative tools to enhance speed, ideation, and experimentation—without compromising on brand quality or design integrity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Visual Identity

  • Own and execute Abby Lighting's visual language across all communication
  • Ensure consistency in typography, colour, layout, and overall design aesthetics
  • Translate brand strategy into compelling visual narratives

2. Creative Design Execution

  • Design creatives for offline and online communication including print ads, brochures, catalogues, hoardings, and exhibition collateral
  • Create digital assets for social media, websites, emailers, and digital campaigns
  • Design presentations, pitch decks, and corporate communication for internal and external use

3. Campaign & Concept Design

  • Translate creative ideas and communication concepts into strong visual executions
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Managers – Communication on campaign design and storytelling
  • Support product launches, events, and campaigns

4. Digital & Social Media Design

  • Design static and motion creatives for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube thumbnails, and other platforms
  • Work with video editors and agencies on visual direction for reels, films, and motion assets
  • Ensure platform-specific best practices while maintaining brand consistency

5. Website & Digital Assets

  • Design website layouts, landing pages, and digital brand assets in collaboration with developers
  • Ensure design quality and consistency during implementation

6. Use of AI Tools & New-Age Design Workflows

  • Use AI-powered design and creative tools (for example: generative image tools, AI-assisted layout, image enhancement, background generation, mockups, and concept exploration) to improve speed, efficiency, and ideation
  • Leverage AI tools responsibly while maintaining brand accuracy, originality, and premium output
  • Stay updated with emerging design and AI trends relevant to branding, digital content, and visual communication

7. Agency & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with external design agencies, printers, and production vendors
  • Review and quality-check outputs from partner agencies
  • Ensure timelines, print quality, and final outputs meet brand standards

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong command over Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Working knowledge of motion design tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus
  • Comfort using AI-based creative tools to support design workflows
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Premiere Pro (or equivalent) is an added advantage
  • Excellent sense of layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to think conceptually and execute independently
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Preferred Background

  • Candidates requiring relocation may not be preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer / Senior Graphic Designer
  • Experience in architecture, interiors, lighting, luxury, or product-led brands preferred
  • Experience working in brand teams or with creative agencies
