Role Overview
Seeking a Senior Generative AI Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI solutions in the pharmaceutical domain. The role involves building scalable, compliant, production-ready GenAI systems, providing technical leadership, hands-on development, and close collaboration with stakeholders. Expertise in ML, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, MLOps, and GCP is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end GenAI projects from design to production.
- Architect and optimize LLM, RAG, and hybrid AI systems with vector databases.
- Build scalable data pipelines and AI platforms using GCP (BigQuery, Vertex AI, CloudSQL).
- Develop high-performance APIs (FastAPI, Python) for model inference and integration.
- Ensure security, compliance, governance, and documentation for pharma data.
- Apply MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, and Jenkins for production-ready deployment.
- Mentor junior team members and enforce best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful AI solutions.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in data science/ML/AI
- Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, or related (Master's/PhD preferred).
- Expertise in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), NLP, and Generative AI.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, vector databases, and cloud-native GCP services.
- Proven track record deploying enterprise-grade AI/ML systems with APIs and production workflows.
- Pharma/life sciences experience preferred; strong documentation and leadership skills.
