We are looking for a Senior Next.js Developer who can take ownership of front-end development, build high-performance web applications, and collaborate closely with designers and backend teams. The ideal candidate should have strong UI sensibilities along with solid experience in API integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and React.js
- Implement SSR, SSG, and ISR for optimised performance and SEO
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality code
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
- Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices, and testing
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions
- Stay updated with the latest frontend and Next.js trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in frontend development
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js & React.js
- Experience in front-end API integration (RESTful APIs)
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with SSR, SSG, API routes, and routing in Next.js
- Familiarity with state management (Redux, Context API, etc.)
- Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Understanding of performance optimisation & SEO best practices
- Ability to work independently in an on-site team environment
