Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Finance to lead financial planning, reporting, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will be a CA (circa 2017 batch) with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and experience in managing finance operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Partner with business teams to provide financial insights and decision support
- Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions
2. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate closure of books (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Oversee preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards
- Manage audits (internal & statutory) and ensure adherence to audit requirements
3. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, Income Tax, etc.)
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks
- Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities
4. Business Finance & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain)
- Provide actionable insights to drive profitability and cost optimization
- Support strategic initiatives, investments, and new business models
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
Key Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA), preferably qualified around 2017
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in finance roles
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, FP&A, and compliance
- Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or high-growth startups is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (ERP experience preferred)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
