Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage end-to-end Profit & Loss (P&L) for US business operations, including detailed variance analysis and month-end close.
  • Lead sales commission planning, calculation, validation, and monthly payouts for US-based sales teams in close collaboration with HR and Sales.
  • Manage US revenue recognition, invoicing, and billing cycles in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning aligned with US market strategy and overall business goals.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive insights for leadership, with a strong focus on US account performance.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decisions, pricing, and growth initiatives in the US market.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement cost control measures and operational efficiencies across US operations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, statutory regulations, and US-specific requirements (including audits, tax coordination, and reporting timelines).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, HR, Operations, Legal) to ensure financial transparency, accuracy, and scalability for US accounts.
  • Support external audits, investor reporting, and management reviews related to US financials.

Requirements
  • MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA/CMA preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial management, with hands-on ownership of US accounts.
  • Strong expertise in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and sales commission structures for US-based teams.
  • Experience handling US commissions, incentives, payroll coordination inputs, and sales compensation plans.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems such as Zoho Books, SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP tools.
  • Solid understanding of US business practices, reporting cycles, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
