Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to drive performance management, enhance employee experience, and ensure seamless HR operations, particularly aligned with US HR practices. This role will play a key part in building a high-performance culture while maintaining compliance, improving operational efficiency, and enabling strong stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Management
- Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Enable structured goal setting, performance tracking, and timely appraisals.
- Partner with managers and employees to foster a high-performance culture through regular feedback and development planning.
- Employee Experience & Relations
- Promote a positive, transparent, and inclusive work environment.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns and grievance resolution.
- Design and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- HR Policy & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain consistency and alignment of HR practices with organizational standards.
- Mitigate legal and compliance risks through proper documentation and policy enforcement.
- Attendance & Workforce Management
- Oversee attendance tracking, leave management, and shift scheduling.
- Provide accurate and timely data inputs for payroll and workforce planning.
- Monitor workforce efficiency through reporting and analytics.
- Coordination & Communication
- Facilitate effective communication between employees, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely execution of HR operations and administrative processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives.
- HR Operations Efficiency
- Maintain accurate HR records, systems, and documentation.
- Drive process improvements through automation and effective data management.
- Ensure timely and error-free delivery of HR services.
Additional / Good-to-Have Responsibilities
Immigration & Visa Coordination
- Coordinate with legal partners on immigration and visa processes.
- Support employees with H1B/I-140 documentation and related queries.
- Maintain Public Access File (PAF) compliance and documentation.
Employee Onboarding & Documentation
- Manage offer letters, background verification, and employee documentation.
- Handle onboarding processes and HR system updates.
- Conduct structured 15-30-45 day check-ins to ensure smooth integration.
Payroll, Benefits & Compensation
- Track employee hours, PTO, and leave records.
- Coordinate insurance, benefits administration, and payroll inputs.
- Support payroll processing, incentives, and employee queries.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Manage wage-related processes and unemployment cases.
- Coordinate worker compensation insurance, including claims and renewals.
- Maintain HR activity calendar and ensure timely compliance execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in HR Operations / HRBP role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS tools (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, Zoho People).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in global HR operations, especially US HR practices.
- Knowledge of immigration and visa processes (H1B, I-140).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and data management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
