The Systems Integration Engineer is a technical individual contributor responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining integrations across various IT systems including HRIS, Service Desk, Workflow, Orchestration, Identity, and Security platforms. This role ensures seamless integration using published APIs and standard application integration methods, supporting both internal and external services within the technology ecosystem.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required.
o Design, build, and maintain APIs and integration tools for internal and external applications.
o Collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure integrations align with the broader IT ecosystem.
o Develop new services and maintain existing integrations.
o Apply best engineering practices including testing, logging, alerting, and deployment.
o Provide regular project status updates and implement corrective actions as needed.
o Participate in middleware/integration layer operations and support activities.
o Provide production and non-production support including issue identification, diagnosis, and resolution or escalation.
o Perform duties outside of normal work hours as required by business needs.
o 3–5 years of experience in integration engineering or architecture.
o Full lifecycle software development experience with third-party/SaaS services (IAM, PAM, ServiceNow, HRIS).
o Proficiency in scripting languages and JavaScript (Node.js).
o Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and reusable service development.
o Hands-on experience with middleware technologies and orchestration tools.
o Skilled in developing web services (SOAP, REST).
o Strong XML programming skills and understanding of W3C standards.
o Knowledge of real-time synchronous and asynchronous integration.
