Role Overview
We are looking for a
Senior Executive – Cataloguing to own end-to-end
product cataloguing accuracy, hygiene, and readiness across our digital platforms. This role is critical in ensuring that every product listed reflects the brand accurately, is
commerce-optimized, and supports a seamless customer buying experience.
You will work closely with
category, creative, brand, and tech teams to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality product listings.
Key Responsibilities
Catalog Creation & Management
- Create, upload, and manage product listings across platforms (website / marketplace / internal tools)
- Ensure accuracy of:
- Product titles, descriptions, and attributes
- Category & sub-category mapping
- Pricing, MRPs, discounts, and tax details
- SKU codes, barcodes, and inventory mappings
- Maintain consistent naming conventions and taxonomy standards
Content Quality & Optimization
- Write and refine clear, customer-friendly product descriptions
Ensure correct usage of brand tone, claims, and compliance guidelines
- Coordinate with creative teams for:
- Product images
- Size charts
- Swatches, variants, and lifestyle shots
- Optimise catalog content for discoverability and conversion
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Category & merchandising teams for product readiness
- Brand teams for approvals and validations
- Tech / platform teams for uploads, fixes, and enhancements
- Act as the SPOC for catalog-related issues and escalations
Audits, Hygiene & Reporting
- Conduct regular catalog audits to identify and fix errors
- Track and close gaps related to:
- Missing content
- Incorrect attributes
- Image or pricing mismatches
- Maintain trackers and dashboards for catalog status, TATs, and issues
Experience
Who We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in cataloguing / e-commerce operations / content operations
- Prior experience in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, FMCG, or D2C preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good command over written English
- Comfortable working with large data sets and multiple SKUs
- Working knowledge of CMS, PIM tools, or marketplace dashboards
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, filters, basic formulas)
