Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing existing business workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, supporting process mapping and proposing practical solutions or automation opportunities to streamline daily operations.
- Support process improvement projects by tracking project timelines and updates, gathering requirements, coordinating cross-functional meetings, and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create, update, and maintain clear process maps, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and centralized documentation to ensure adherence to organizational standards.
- Respond to daily operational inquiries and provide basic troubleshooting and escalation management to maintain stable workflow operations.
- Conduct regular data checks and audits to detect anomalies, investigate root causes, and perform data clean-up tasks to safeguard master and operational data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the container shipping business (e.g., Trade & Marketing, Pricing, Space Control, Sales, or Customer Service).
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and/or Google Sheets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex processes and identify underlying issues.
