Job Summary
We are looking for a top-notch electrical engineer with expertise in lightning protection systems (LPS) and earthing. This role is for a Technical Ambassador who can handle advanced simulations in CDEGS, perform on-site audits, and represent the company in professional forums. The candidate must possess an authoritative command of the English language to bridge the gap between complex engineering and client-side communication.
Core Responsibilities
- Advanced Engineering: Execute precise designs for LV, MV, HV, and EHV systems using AutoCAD and CDEGS.
- Technical Auditing & Defense: Conduct site audits and present the methodology (principles of measurement) to clients. You must be able to answer why and how regarding audit results with scientific accuracy.
- Public Speaking & Seminars: Author professional technical papers and deliver high-impact PPT presentations at national seminars. You must be capable of handling counter-questions and technical debates from industry experts.
- Education (NIESI): Lead workshops and training sessions for clients, both in-person (on-site) and through online webinars.
- Solution-Oriented Research: Demonstrate the ability to study unfamiliar technical challenges and provide researched, accurate answers to client queries.
Strict Language & Communication Criteria
- Written English: Must be able to draft formal technical papers, detailed audit reports, and professional business emails with perfect grammar and technical clarity.
- Spoken English: Must be a fluent, confident speaker. You should be able to lead meetings, present on stage, and negotiate with high-level client executives in English without hesitation.
Technical & General Requirements
- Education: BE/ME Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of substation systems and power grids across all voltage levels (LV to EHV).
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (for documentation) and AutoCAD.
- Travel: Fully capable and willing to travel across India for site audits and client discussions.
- Mindset: A strong learner who can admit a knowledge gap, research the solution, and return to the client with a professional answer.
