Job Description:
We are seeking a
Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in
onshore and offshore oil & gas EPC projects. The role involves performing detailed engineering for
electrical systems including
cable sizing, earthing, lighting, and power distribution, using tools like
ETAP and
Dialux.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, short circuit and voltage drop analysis using ETAP.
- Design lighting systems using Dialux in compliance with project and international standards.
- Prepare electrical deliverables including SLDs, cable schedules, earthing layouts, and lighting layouts.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, IEEE, and client-specific standards.
- Interface with other disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams with technical input.
- Review vendor documents and participate in FATs when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EPC projects within the oil & gas sector.
- Proficient in ETAP, Dialux, and other electrical design tools.
- Strong understanding of industry codes (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and project specifications.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
