Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with 810 years of proven experience in the design and engineering of electrical systems for medium to large-scale projects. The ideal candidate must come from a Consulting / Design Engineering background, with hands-on knowledge of GCC standards, NEC, and experience leading design teams.

1.Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical design teams across multiple building sectors.

Prepare, review, and approve electrical system designs including:

oPower distribution systems

oLighting systems

oLow current / ELV systems

oEarthing & lightning protection

oLoad calculations, SLDs, layouts, specifications

Ensure compliance with NEC, local GCC authority standards, and international best practices.

Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project stakeholders.

Review shop drawings, material submittals, and respond to RFIs.

Support tendering, cost estimation, and technical evaluations.

2.Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).

810 years of experience in building electrical design.

Must have worked in a Consulting/Design Engineering company.

Experience in Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Hotel, and Hospital projects.

Direct experience with GCC projects.

Strong background in NEC and GCC local authority regulations.

Experience designing electrical systems for 35 star hotels is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to lead a design team and manage project deliverables.

In-depth knowledge of ELV systems is an added advantage.

Gulf-return candidates will be preferred (but not mandatory).
