Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

Join our dynamic engineering team and play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge electrical systems for marine and offshore projects. From new builds like offshore HVDC & HVAC substations to major conversions such as FPSO, FSRU and FSO, you will be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring world-class standards and seamless execution.

What You'll Do

Design & Development: Create and validate electrical systems for new builds, retrofits, and conversions. Prepare technical documents and drawings for classification societies and clients.

Project Support: Contribute to major projects by estimating, preparing MTOs, and maintaining project planning documents.

Technical Leadership: Guide and supervise drafting teams to produce accurate 3D models and deliverables.

Collaboration: Participate in design reviews, inter-discipline checks, and ensure timely implementation of follow-up actions.

Innovation: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization while maintaining top-quality standards.

Reporting: Track progress, prepare reports, and highlight any delays or changes in project deliverables.

What We're Looking For

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree and professional memberships like IET/IEEE are a plus).

Experience: 8–15 years in offshore Oil & Gas or shipyard environments, with expertise in power generation, distribution systems, and electrical design for marine vessels.
