Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Director – Talent Acquisition to lead large-scale hiring operations within a fast-paced BPO environment. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, managing high-volume hiring across multiple geographies, and building scalable recruitment frameworks to support a workforce of 4,000+ employees.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in BPO hiring, workforce planning, stakeholder management, and recruitment transformation, with a strong focus on operational excellence and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with business growth plans and workforce demand
- Partner with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and develop long-term talent pipelines
- Drive innovation in recruitment through technology, analytics, and process optimization
High-Volume Hiring & Delivery
- Lead large-scale hiring operations across voice, non-voice, and support functions within the BPO ecosystem
- Ensure timely fulfillment of hiring targets while maintaining quality-of-hire metrics
- Oversee bulk hiring drives, campus programs, vendor partnerships, and walk-in initiatives
Team Leadership & Span Management
- Manage and mentor a large Talent Acquisition team, including regional heads, managers, and recruiters
- Drive team performance through KPIs, SLAs, and continuous capability building
- Handle a span of control supporting 4,000+ employees across multiple locations
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business leaders, HRBPs, and operations heads to ensure alignment on hiring priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent market trends and hiring strategies
Process Excellence & Transformation
- Standardize and optimize recruitment processes to improve efficiency, cost, and turnaround time
- Implement and leverage ATS, recruitment analytics, and automation tools
- Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent in competitive markets
Vendor & Cost Management
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job portals, and external partners
- Optimize cost-per-hire and recruitment budgets without compromising quality
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to hiring policies, diversity & inclusion goals, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy across recruitment systems

Qualifications & Experience
- 18+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with significant exposure to BPO/ITES hiring with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of managing high-volume hiring at scale
- Strong leadership experience managing large teams across geographies
- Expertise in recruitment analytics, workforce planning, and TA technology platforms
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent preferred
