Role Overview

We are seeking a high-impact and hands-on Associate Vice President – Sales & Marketing (IT Services) to build and scale the Sales & Marketing function. This is a builder role, ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, driving execution, and delivering measurable business growth.

The ideal candidate will work with an existing foundation, introduce process discipline, improve pipeline predictability, strengthen demand generation, and gradually scale the overall function.

This is a full-time, Work from Office role in Chennai – Siruseri / Guindy

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Pipeline Ownership

  • Drive the end-to-end sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure
  • Build a healthy and predictable sales pipeline
  • Improve lead conversion rates and sales effectiveness
  • Own and deliver revenue growth targets

Demand Generation & Marketing

  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, outbound, and events
  • Drive inbound and outbound lead generation strategies
  • Strengthen solution positioning and messaging for enterprise clients

Website & Digital Optimization

  • Own and enhance website performance, content, user journey, and conversion
  • Improve lead capture and inbound effectiveness

CRM & Process Excellence

  • Set up and optimize sales processes within Zoho CRM / Zoho CRM+
  • Ensure strong pipeline visibility, tracking, and reporting
  • Use CRM and supporting tools for data-driven decision making

Market Intelligence

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • Identify new business opportunities, target segments, and growth areas

Function Building & Scaling

  • Bring structure, governance, and operating rhythm
  • Work with existing resources and scale the team as needed
  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Drive alignment and challenge constructively where required

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12–18 years of experience in B2B IT Services Sales & Marketing
  • Proven experience in enterprise sales cycles and demand generation
  • Strong track record in building or scaling sales and marketing functions
  • Strong expertise in pipeline creation, conversion improvement, and revenue growth
  • Hands-on exposure to CRM-led sales processes
  • Strong understanding of consultative / solution selling
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in digital marketing strategy and campaign optimization
  • Strong expertise in sales operations and KPI governance
  • Exposure to website optimization and conversion analytics
  • Experience in team scaling and leadership hiring

Relevant Experience Preferred

  • Strong working experience with Zoho CRM / Zoho CRM+ (preferred)
  • Exposure to Salesforce, HubSpot, or Freshworks
  • Familiarity with Apollo.io or similar prospecting platforms
  • Experience with marketing automation and analytics tools

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • MBA (Marketing / Sales / Business Management) preferred
  • Certifications in Sales, Digital Marketing, or CRM platforms will be an added advantage
