Role Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Director – Sales with extensive experience in the services industry and a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the United States market. This role requires a strategic sales leader who has hands-on experience working physically in the US, understands market dynamics, and excels at converting leads into high-value opportunities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong executive presence, stakeholder management capabilities, and a target-driven mindset, with the ability to build long-term client relationships and scale revenue across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Leadership
- Own and drive revenue targets for the US market
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives
- Consistently convert qualified leads into profitable opportunities and closures
Market Expansion (US Focus)
- Leverage prior on-ground experience in the US to build and expand client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth segments
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (delivery, pre-sales, leadership) to ensure seamless execution
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Lead complex deal cycles, negotiations, and contract closures
- Drive consultative selling approaches for services-led engagements
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
- Monitor KPIs, conversion ratios, and sales effectiveness
Key Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in sales/business development within the services industry
- Proven success in US market sales with physical work experience in the United States
- Strong track record of lead conversion and revenue generation
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management and executive engagement
- Highly target-driven with a results-oriented mindset
- Expertise in managing large and complex deal cycles
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
- Demonstrated experience working with international clients and distributed teams
- Ability to navigate cross-cultural business environments
- Experience in IT Services / Consulting / Digital Transformation services
- Established network within US-based enterprises
- MBA or equivalent business qualification (preferred)
