About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Verification Engineer with a strong background in USB protocol, SystemVerilog, and UVM-based verification environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in verifying complex IPs and subsystems, owning test bench creation, coverage closure, and driving quality across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UVM-based verification environments for complex SoC/IP designs.
• Work extensively on USB protocol verification (Host, Device, or OTG).
• Create reusable, scalable, and efficient SystemVerilog test benches and verification components.
• Develop test plans, implement constrained random tests, and drive functional coverage closure.
• Debug failures using waveforms, assertions, and simulations to identify design or test bench issues.
• Collaborate closely with design, architecture, and firmware teams to ensure functional completeness and high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor junior verification engineers and contribute to improving verification methodologies and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and test bench creation.
• Hands-on experience with USB 2.0/3.x protocol and VIP integration.
• Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals, RTL simulation, and debugging.
• Proficiency with verification tools such as Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, or Mentor Questa.
• Experience with coverage-driven verification, assertion-based verification, and regression management.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Tcl for automation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to other high-speed protocols (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet) is a plus.
• Experience in SoC-level verification or integration environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education

• B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
