Senior Design Engineer

Who we need - Design Engineer

- A Design Engineer is responsible for the duties and maintenance of the engineering department.

- A Design Engineer carry out various responsibilities including design, prototyping, research, documentation & process improvement.

What will a Design Engineer do

- Research about upcoming products/materials/machinery to improve the overall strength of the company.

- Check tolerances, dimensions, and fabrication feasibility of designs and work with engineers to resolve problems.

- Design and implements New Product Developments (NPD).

- Document designs and provide associated drawings that meet project specifications.

- Adjust current drawings and recommend changes based on their understanding and knowledge of the project.

- Design and draft CAD (computer-aided design) drawings.

- Work closely with the SolidWorks/AutoCAD, project managers, and project engineers to make sure that the design is precise.

- Implement a product's installation instruction as per the project requirements.

- Accountable for the maintenance of the CAD drawing library.

- Aid in increasing and maintaining quality assurance processes.

- Prepare presentation materials using SolidWorks/AutoCAD design software.

- Review and interpret client specifications.

Minimum Education Requirements:

- Diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial design or a related field.

- Minimum hands-on experience of 3 - 5 years in the related field.

- Work experience in a Manufacturing Industry would an asset.

- Hands-on experience with design & engineering softwares - SolidWorks & AutoCad is a must.

- Thorough knowledge of desktop operating systems.

- Excellent proficiency in MS Office - Excel is a must.

- Attention to details, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and direction.
