We are seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to lead our data analysis and business analysis efforts.
You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop data models, supporting our data migration and reporting projects. Join us to leverage your expertise in SQL, Power BI, and data profiling to drive impactful business insights.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Perform data source profiling and assess data quality
- Develop data models and design Power BI report models
- Collaborate with technical teams to support the build and implementation of the Snowflake platform
- Participate in data migration from on-premise systems to AWS Snowflake
- Support testing and validation of data solutions
- Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
- Monitor and report on data quality and integrity
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports for clients and internal teams
- Advise on best practices in data governance and quality
- Provide training and support to junior analysts as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis and Business Analysis
- Strong skills in requirement gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with data source profiling and data modeling
- Hands-on experience in Power BI report modeling
- Familiarity with Snowflake and AWS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Project management experience
- Adaptability to changing priorities and environments
