In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics
- Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models
- Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance
- Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
- Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of Commercial/Consumer Lending practices, policies, and procedures.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Quality/Data Defects/Data Governance
- 4+ years of experience with applying and executing, reviewing controls or assurance with business processes.
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical subject matter experts.
- Knowledge and understanding of the key factors impacting credit offerings, including credit risks and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of risk management practices, extensive knowledge of financial data
- Demonstrated proficient SQL experience.
- Strong analytics skills and comprehensive understanding of financial services products and risk drivers
- Proficient experience in identifying and evaluating data trends, isolating root cause, and providing swift/thorough resolution.
- Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional area.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
Job Expectations:
- Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the Commercial/Consumer Lending Credit Risk team and execute on deliverables for projects with moderate to high risk for the Credit Risk organization.
- Support domains, perform data quality defect reviews and process data defect extensions, change requests and escalations
- SLA monitoring, workflow management & governance
- Issue management along with review and analysis to categorize different defects
- Monitor data quality checks internal to the process
- Control execution, tracking and maintenance evidence for audit reviews
- Partners with Finance/Controller, Audit, Control Oversight, Line of Business, Technology, and Testing teams for researching and explaining questions related to data and controls.
- Responsible for data reconciliation, and documentation in alignment with governance policies.
- Research and remediate data, production, and control issues in partnership with other SMEs and teams.
- Meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, Credit Risk procedures, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.
