Key Responsibilities

Data Migration & Re-platforming

• Migrate legacy Oracle + Ab Initio workloads to AWS Redshift and Ab Initio environments.
• Re-platform existing ETL workflows to cloud-based architecture.
• Ensure 100% data parity between legacy and target systems during migration.

ETL Development & Optimization

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines using Ab Initio.
• Enhance performance of existing data workflows and ensure scalability.
• Maintain efficient data processing frameworks in distributed environments.

Cloud & Data Architecture

• Implement cold storage strategies using AWS services such as DynamoDB and Apache Iceberg.
• Work on cloud data architecture aligned with AWS best practices.
• Optimize storage and compute usage for cost efficiency.

Data Validation & Quality Assurance

• Perform end-to-end data validation and reconciliation across source and target systems.
• Conduct performance benchmarking for ETL processes and migration workflows.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of migrated data.

Performance & Optimization

• Identify bottlenecks in ETL pipelines and optimize performance.
• Improve batch processing and data transformation efficiency.
