Senior Data Analyst
What will you create and doWe are looking for a highly analytical and business-driven Senior Data Analyst to transform customer conversation data, transactional data, and product usage data into actionable insights that drive revenue and customer success outcomes.
In this individual contributor role, you will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to improve funnel performance, customer engagement, retention, and product adoption. You will play a key role in shaping how Conversive (SMS Magic) uses data to drive decision-making across the organization.
You will work on customer engagement data (SMS, WhatsApp, and conversational channels) along with transactional and product usage datasets to uncover patterns, optimize conversions, and identify growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate is hands-on with data, strong in analytics and business understanding, and capable of translating complex datasets into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:Analyse customer conversation data (SMS, WhatsApp, chat interactions) to uncover engagement patterns and trends.
Work with transactional and product usage data to identify drop-offs, growth opportunities, and user behaviour insights.
Build and maintain business dashboards and reports for leadership and cross-functional teams
Develop and manage MQL SQL Revenue funnel reporting and analytics
Track campaign performance, product adoption, and customer engagement metrics
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to understand business challenges and translate them into data models and analytical frameworks.
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve conversion rates, retention, and revenue growth.
Work with large-scale datasets and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance
Identify data gaps, tracking issues, and opportunities to improve data infrastructure.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy and reliability of dashboards and reporting
Improvement in funnel conversion metrics (MQL SQL Revenue)
Insights generated that drive measurable revenue impact
Adoption and usage of dashboards by business stakeholders
Improvement in customer retention and product usage metrics
Reduction in data inconsistencies and reporting gaps
What will qualify you for this role
Advanced Data Analysis Skills Strong expertise in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / Looker)
Business & Revenue Analytics Deep understanding of customer lifecycle, funnel metrics (MQL SQL Revenue), retention, and cohort analysis
Data to Insights Capability Proven ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights and recommendations
Stakeholder Collaboration Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams
Big Data Handling Experience working with large datasets including customer interaction logs and product usage data.
Data Governance & Accuracy Ability to ensure data quality, consistency, and reporting reliability.
Desired Skills:
Experience in SaaS / CPaaS / CRM / Marketing Automation domains
Exposure to conversational or customer engagement analytics
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
Understanding of product analytics and growth frameworks
Strong problem-solving and structured thinking ability
Excellent communication and data storytelling skills

Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field preferred)
