Job Description

We are hiring Senior Data Analysts to lead data analytics and reporting across retail and digital channels by building scalable insights, mentoring analysts, and enabling data-driven decision-making for marketing, sales, and operations.

Experience: 4 - 7 Years

Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
  • Certifications in Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Digital Analytics preferred

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end analysis of retail, e-commerce, marketing, customer, and operational data to identify growth opportunities, inefficiencies, and risks.
  • Translate business objectives into analytics frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards aligned to revenue, conversion, footfall, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Drive marketing performance analysis including campaign ROI, attribution, funnel analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Support A/B testing, experimentation, and promotional analysis across online and offline channels.
  • Own the design, development, and governance of dashboards and automated reports using Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and SQL.
  • Establish and maintain data definitions, documentation, and SOPs for reporting and analysis.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of data analysts, reviewing outputs and improving analytical quality.
  • Work closely and proactively with marketing, performance, category, digital, and operations teams to convert business questions into actionable insights, improvements and recommendations.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in data analytics / business intelligence roles
  • 2+ years in retail, e-commerce, or marketing-driven environments preferred
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring analysts is a strong advantage
  • Exposure to omni-channel analytics is a plus.
  • Retail and e-commerce performance metrics (sales, margin, inventory, promotions, footfall)
  • Marketing and digital analytics concepts (funnels, attribution, CAC, ROAS, LTV)
  • Data modeling and reporting best practices
  • Understanding of online & offline customer journeys
  • Experience working with large, multi-source datasets
  • Advanced MS Excel (data modeling, automation, complex formulas)
  • Strong Power BI / Tableau dashboard design and storytelling
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Team leadership, mentoring, and management capability
