Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a proactive Senior Data Analyst to work independently on complex, open-ended questions. This role involves designing and analyzing experiments, presenting findings to clients, and ensuring proper implementation of analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong data manipulation skills, experience with A/B testing, and a knack for building effective dashboards and reports that drive informed decision-making.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analysis & Insights:
• Work independently to solve complex, open-ended questions.
• Design and analyze tests and experiments.
• Present findings and recommendations to customers concisely to drive appropriate outcomes.
• Platform & Process Management:
• Ensure the proper implementation of various analytics platforms.
• Maintain thorough documentation of analytical processes and projects.
• Build, maintain, and improve performance dashboards, leveraging customer feedback for usability.
• Collaboration & Mentorship:
• Advise clients on relevant best practices and ensure data is easily retrievable for their review.
• Support data quality and understand evolving customer needs.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure the infrastructure supports scalable and efficient data analysis.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong data manipulation skills including:
• Querying and manipulating data with SQL.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (vlookup, functions, dashboards, Power Pivot).
• Knowledge of Python or R.
• Experience with A/B conversion testing.
• Professional experience working with a Snowflake Data Cloud to generate actionable insights.
• Experience building dashboards in PowerBI or Tableau.
• Concise and clear written and oral communication, with proven experience delivering insights and reports via PowerPoint slides.
• Strong attention to detail.
